Underground Cable Fault Detection
Abstract
The growth of the electrical system grid has resulted in extensive use of underground cables. Due to subsurface environment, decline and rodents, underground cables are at risk of a wide range of problems. It is challenging to locate the root of the problem because the entire line must be dug up to inspect the cable line for problems. Only that section needs to be dug up to find the source of the defect because the repairmen are aware exactly which part is at fault. As a result, it helps to service subterranean cable lines more quickly and saves a lot of time and money. The aim of this venture is to calculate the underground cable fault's KM distance from the base station.
