Spin wave magnonic crystal demultiplexer
Abstract
The paper reports on demultiplexing of microwave signals based on the ferromagnetic film/dielectric/magnonic crystal structure. We observed a formation of spin-wave stop band (bandgap) in such a structure. Signals with frequencies outside the bandgap propagate through the magnonic crystal, while signals with frequencies inside the bandgap are transmitted through the ferromagnetic film. As a result, the structure enables frequency-dependent signal routing, where signals exit through different ports based on their frequency. This demonstrates the potential for frequency-division channel separation in such systems.
