PyBOX‐Integrated Chiral Covalent Organic Frameworks
Abstract
Abstract Heterogeneous catalysts based on chiral covalent organic frameworks (CCOFs) are the new sensation in asymmetric catalysis. The pyridine‐bis(oxazoline) (PyBOX), on the other hand, is a well‐known class of privileged chiral ligands that can be incorporated with various metal ions for diversified homogeneous asymmetric organic transformations. The integration of the PyBOX into the COF platform will undoubtedly lead to a new breed of heterogeneous asymmetric catalysts. Herein, we report the first example of PyBOX‐based CCOF via chiral pool synthesis for scale‐up catalytic asymmetric acetalization and A 3 ‐coupling reaction. This research provides a novel type of sustainable COF‐based heterogeneous catalyst with gratifying functionalities.
