Magnon frequency comb generated through inelastic scattering between edge-mode spin waves and bulk-type spin waves
Abstract
We demonstrate the generation of the magnon frequency comb via inelastic scattering between edge-mode and bulk-type spin waves. Micromagnetic simulations reveal that clear frequency combs emerge when the driving microwave field exceeds a threshold amplitude and operates within a specific frequency range. By tuning the field strength and incident angle of bulk-type spin waves, the spectral features of the comb can be precisely controlled. This work establishes a compact, low-power approach to spin-wave-based frequency comb generation, advancing magnonic device applications.
