Abstract

Thousands of persons with Alzheimer's disease and other cognitive problems go missing every year. As a result, the person with dementia must frequently keep track of their current location. As a result, a dependable and affordable monitoring system is required to improve the quality of life of these individuals and their families. Individuals and their caretakers must be constantly monitored and cared for, as well as intervene and provide support, putting a great financial and human load on them. Interconnected sensing technologies, such as wearable devices and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, offer a potential solution for objective, dependable, and remote monitoring, assessment, and support throughout one's lifetime, with the help of the environment. This suggested wearable device would combine GPS systems with a microcontroller to provide real-time monitoring of Alzheimer's sufferers when they leave their homes, ensuring their safety. The fall is detected, the caregiver is alerted, and emergency care can be given in the event of a patient collapsing. On the screen, there are also simple routine reminders.
