Abstract
This research study assesses different routing protocols in the context of the Internet of Things (IoT), emphasizing their energy efficiency. The growth of IoT devices, dependent on finite power sources, needs energy-efficient procedures to optimize device durability. This study methodically evaluates several protocols, analyzing their effects on power consumption within prevalent IoT network topologies. Analysis is offered regarding the impact of each protocol on the sustainability and efficiency of IoT systems, aiding in the formulation of efficient routing solutions.
