ECO-GRID: Smart Energy Dash Board

Abstract

Eco-Grid is an AI-powered energy management platform integrating advanced time-series forecasting with gamified conservation mechanisms to optimize residential energy consumption. The system employs ARIMA and Face book Prophet Models for predictive analytics, achieving RMSE of 1.05kWh, MAE of 0.72 kWh, and MAPE of 7.5 % on household energy datasets. Prophet demonstrates superior performance with 15% lower error rates and better handling of seasonal patterns and holidays. The platform features real-time IoT sensor integration, personalized energy saving recommendations, and a comprehensive gamification framework including achievement badges, leader boards, and community challenges. Security is ensured through AES-256 encryption, OAuth 2.0 authentication, and GDPR compliance. Experimental results demonstrate 23% average energy reduction among active users, with gamification elements increasing engagement by 67% compared to traditional monitoring systems.
