Detecting Spammers on Social Networks

Abstract

Social media is an online platform, one person can make social relations with the other persons easily via social platform (Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn).Nowadays in social media platform peoples are sharing their personal information’s, habits, carrier interest, activities to their friends. Various information is propagating through online social networks including both the positive and negative. Online information sharing is becoming ubiquitous every day. In this paper, naïve Bayes algorithm is used to detect the wrong information for example the online rumors, and it is also used to work out the distinguish and predictive problems. And Naïve Bayes algorithm is also used for text classification, spam filtering, hybrid recommender system and collaborative filtering.
