Abstract

The design and fabrication of a multi-utility agricultural vehicle (MUAV) aims to address the diverse and labour-intensive demands of modern farming by integrating multiple agricultural operations into a single, compact, and cost-effective machine. This project focuses on developing a versatile vehicle capable of performing tasks such as plowing, seed sowing, pesticide spraying, and transporting agricultural produce. By combining these functionalities, the vehicle reduces the need for multiple machines and manual labour, thus improving overall farm efficiency and productivity, particularly for small and medium- scale farmers. The MUAV is a sustainable and cost-effective solution to mechanization, reducing operational time and energy consumption. The design also explores the integration of basic automation and smart farming technologies, such as soil moisture sensors and GPS tracking, to enhance precision and resource management.
