Constructing Private Cloud Storage using Network Attached Storage
Abstract
Today, humans live in the "era of the cloud," where you can store numerous resources for later use and exploitation. However, there is a security concern with uploading private or confidential data to a public cloud. Additionally, building a typical cloud storage system would be expensive and requires extensive hardware administration, making it unaffordable for individuals, SOHOs, and small businesses. To establish their own cloud, they require an affordable but reliable option. Therefore less-expensive, adaptable, and recoverable private cloud storage system utilising NAS is suggested in this work. Migration and cell recovery, two key methods for improving adaptability and recoverability, are described, and assessed.
