Abstract
Effective waste management is crucial for sustainable urban development, yet conventional methods suffer from inconsistent human intervention. This project introduces an Advanced Smart Waste Segregation System that employs AI-powered waste detection, proximity sensing, and deep learning models on embedded platforms for real-time classification of waste into biodegradable and non biodegradable categories. Integrating sensors and actuators, the system automates precise and hygienic waste redirection, aiming to significantly enhance recycling efficiency and contribute to sustainable waste management.
