AgriXion: The Self Aware Farming Entity

P Pramila . (Sri Sairam College of Engineering)

Abstract

AP Modern agriculture faces ongoing challenges such as labor shortages, inefficient fertilizer application, and inconsistent yields caused by poor resource management. This paper presents an AI-powered autonomous agriculture robot that integrates LiDAR-based navigation, AI-driven nutrient optimization, and IoT-based monitoring to automate critical farming activities including soil analysis, seed planting, and fertilizer spraying. The system employs Jetson Nano for AI computation, ESP32 for control operations, and LoRa/WiFi mesh for seamless communication between field units and the cloud. LiDAR provides accurate terrain mapping and obstacle detection, while AI algorithms analyze real-time soil data to determine the ideal NPK levels for each crop zone. By combining artificial intelligence with automation, the AgriBot minimizes human effort, reduces fertilizer waste, and enhances yield productivity, offering a practical, sustainable, and farmer-friendly solution for next-generation precision agriculture.
